Recorded in the job report

Parts, quantities, serial numbers: the field form includes the equipment to declare.

Identified without errors

Pre-filled lists, QR code scanning and validation rules prevent typos.

Tracked on the asset

Equipment fitted is added to the job and to the history of the asset concerned.

Sent to your tool

The data goes to your inventory management software, through the API or by export.

A part fitted but declared nowhere means a poorly known asset and stock that no longer matches reality. G-ordon turns equipment fitted into job data, entered once, on site, by the technician.

01

Equipment fitted, recorded in the job report

The field form follows your trade, and it includes the equipment to declare. The technician fills it in along with the rest of the job, with or without a signal.

  • Pre-filled lists: the technician picks the part instead of typing it.
  • Quantities and serial numbers: each field has its own validation rules.
  • QR code scanning and photo: the reference is taken from the part itself.
  • Automatic calculations: a total, a derived quantity, no calculator needed.

The form is configured with no development: a new type of part, a mandatory field, and it’s in place. See job reports.

02

Every asset keeps its history

Equipment fitted is linked to the job and to the asset concerned: boiler, valve, meter, home. Visit after visit, the asset record becomes its memory: what was replaced, when, and by whom.

For a meter replacement, for example, the old and new readings, the serial number and the seal are recorded in the same job. See meter reading.

03

Data ready for your inventory management

G-ordon doesn’t replace your stock software: it feeds it with what actually happened in the field.

  • Excel and CSV exports of every list, filtered by period, job type, contract or technician.
  • Documented REST API: your management software or ERP can read the equipment declared in G-ordon.
  • Webhooks, as an option: your application is notified as soon as a job is created or modified.

Setting off with the right equipment

Before setting off, the technician checks the asset record on their phone: its characteristics, its documents and its visit history. They know what they will find, and what they need to bring.

Frequently asked questions

Does G-ordon manage stock levels?
G-ordon tracks the equipment fitted on each job and links it to the asset concerned. Stock levels and replenishment remain in your management software, which G-ordon can feed through the REST API or by file export.
How does the technician declare the parts used?
In the job report, like the rest of the job. The field form is configured with no development: parts list, quantity, serial number, photo, QR code scanning. They can do it even with no signal.
Can we export the equipment fitted over a period?
Yes. Every list in G-ordon can be exported to Excel or CSV, with the filters you have applied: period, job type, contract or technician.
