The schedule on the device

List, calendar and map stay available, even at the bottom of a cellar.

Data entry continues

Form, photos, sketches and signature: the technician finishes the job in a no-signal area.

Sending happens by itself

When the network returns, everything syncs, with nothing for the technician to do.

Lightweight photos

Photos are lightened so they display fast, even on a weak mobile network.

Sewer manholes, cellars, underground car parks, plant rooms, villages with poor coverage: in the field, the signal is often missing exactly where the work happens. G-ordon was designed for these conditions: technicians work as usual, and the office receives their job reports as soon as the network returns.

In the field, no signal doesn’t mean no work.

01

The day is already on the device

The technician’s schedule is stored on their phone or tablet. With no signal, they find their jobs as a list, in a calendar or on the map, with the useful information for each one.

The office, meanwhile, keeps scheduling on its side: the technician knows where to go and in what order, even at the bottom of a cellar.

02

Data entry continues in no-signal areas

The technician fills in the form as usual, signal or not.

  • The full form: conditional questions, validation rules, calculations.
  • Annotated photos, kept on the device with the job report.
  • Sketches drawn on site with G-Plan.
  • The signature of the customer, collected without waiting.
03

Everything goes out when the network returns

As soon as the network returns, the app sends by itself what has been entered: job report, photos, signature. The technician has nothing to do, and the office finds the completed jobs with their job reports.

Photos are lightened by G-ordon Comète so they display fast, in the office and in the field, even on a weak mobile network.

Designed for trades that work underground

Offline isn’t an afterthought: it is the daily reality of many trades served by G-ordon.

  • Water and sanitation: manholes, pumping stations, installation inspections in remote areas. See the water services use case.
  • Social housing: cellars, car parks, plant rooms on estates. See the social landlords use case.
  • Rural areas: routes go through areas that still have poor coverage.

Frequently asked questions

What can a technician do with no signal?
Almost all of their work: view their jobs as a list, in a calendar or on the map, fill in the form, take and annotate photos, draw a sketch and collect a signature. Everything is saved on the device.
Does syncing have to be started manually?
No. As soon as the network returns, the app sends what has been entered by itself. The technician has nothing to do, and the office receives the job reports.
Is a specific phone required?
No. An Android or iOS smartphone or tablet with an up-to-date browser is all it takes. The app is installed from the browser.
Are photos taken with no signal kept?
Yes. They stay on the device with the job report they belong to, then are sent with it when the network returns.
