Notary requests, from submission to certificate

In about a minute, follow a request for a sewer connection certificate: the notary creates an account and selects the plot on the land registry map, G-ordon finds the property and replies on its own when the situation is clear, and an agent takes over otherwise. This is G-ordon, in action.

Step by step

What you have just seen

From the plot chosen by the notary to the certificate in their inbox: the service steps in only where its expertise matters.

  1. Request

The request, on the cadastral map

Department, town, section and plot are picked in turn. Sewer connection certificate, or on-site inspection.

  2. Match

The property is found in the asset register

G-ordon pulls in the network data: connection, easement, address.

  3. Reply

When all is clear, the reply goes out by itself

The certificate is generated as a PDF, with a quote if needed, and the notary is notified by email.

  4. Take over

    Otherwise, an agent takes over

They attach a document or a comment, then close it. The notary is notified at every step.

  5. Track

    Everyone follows progress

Status, lead time, documents, export: notaries track their requests, the service manages lead times.

What you gain

A service that replies quickly, without chasing files

Notaries’ requests arrive all year round, often a few days before a sale. With G-ordon, they follow a clear path.

Self-sufficient notaries

The notary creates an account with their SIRET number (French company ID), submits requests and follows their progress themselves. The service approves access, then receives requests that are already entered, on the right plot.

The right plot, first time

Department, town, section and plot are chosen one after the other, on the land registry map. G-ordon finds the property in your asset base and pulls in the connection, easements and address.

The reply goes out on its own when all is clear

The certificate is generated as a PDF from the service’s Word template, with a quote if needed, and the notary is notified by email. Tricky cases stay in the hands of an agent.

Lead times you can manage

Status, lead time, documents: every request can be tracked, and the list can be exported. The service spots the files that are waiting at a glance, before the notary chases them up.

The same process, with your rules

The film shows a sewer connection certificate. For you, it might be a connection inspection before a sale. In G-ordon, a trade is a job type, a field form and a report template: your certificates use your Word templates, and your areas with automatic replies are set up with no development.

What we look at together during the demo

  1. Your assets: importing connected properties, easements and addresses from your files.
  2. Your rules: the towns and sections with automatic replies, and those that remain handled manually.
  3. Your documents: the certificate and the quote produced from your Word templates.
  4. Your management: tracking requests, lead times and exports, for the service as well as for notaries.

Frequently asked questions

How does a notary's office get access?
The notary signs up with their office’s SIRET number (French company ID), and the office is found automatically in the INSEE Sirene directory. The service checks the request and approves access: the office can then submit and track its requests.
Which requests can a notary submit?
A request for a sewer connection certificate, or a request for an on-site connection inspection. In both cases, they select the plot on the land registry map and can add their file reference and a description.
When is the certificate sent automatically?
When the property’s situation is clear in the asset base. The service chooses, town by town and section by section, the areas where the reply is automatic and those that remain handled manually.
What happens when the situation needs to be reviewed?
An agent takes over the request: they attach a document or a comment, then close it. The notary is notified at every step and finds the documents in their portal.
Can the connection data come from our current tools?
Yes. Assets are imported (CSV, Excel, JSON, and GeoJSON or WKT for geometries), and G-ordon can exchange data with your GIS or your billing software through its REST API. During the demo, we look together at what suits your organisation. Request a demo.

G-ordon, every day in the field

A platform that runs, every single day

Field teams and back offices rely on it every morning, with or without a network. Here is what that adds up to over a year.

1,500 different users every day
  • 250,000 requests processed per day
  • 90M requests processed per year
  • 20,000+ logins per month
  • 1 in 3 exchanges sent from the field app
  • 70 GB of field data received in one month

Measurements from the logs of the G-ordon production platform, all customers combined, from October 2025 to September 2026. Rounded values. Different users per day: all customer platforms combined.
