More than 30 types

From a simple text field to a scale sketch, by way of the signature.

No development

A new form is built in the editor, field by field.

Rules

Conditional questions, checks, calculations and pre-filling.

Even with no network

Everything can be filled in offline, and is sent when the network returns.

A job report is only useful if it reflects your line of work. With G-ordon, you build it yourself, field by field, in the back-office editor: on their phone, the technician finds exactly the questions they need to ask, and the office receives a job report that is right first time.

01

Rules that make the form smart

A good form only asks the right questions. G-ordon makes this possible without a single line of code:

  • Conditional display: a question only appears if a previous answer makes it relevant (“Is a leak visible? Yes” → “Where?”). Conditions can be combined with AND and OR.
  • Required fields and input checks: an incomplete job report or a badly formatted value cannot be approved.
  • Expected values: an out-of-range answer is flagged as an anomaly, and each question can carry more or less weight in the score.
  • Calculations: a result is calculated automatically from the other fields.

Less typing, thanks to pre-filling

The technician does not start from scratch at every visit:

  • Default values for the most common answers;
  • Copy from the previous job report for the same equipment or the same unit;
  • Asset information taken straight from the record: address, equipment, specifications.

Organised the way you work

The form is split into pages and groups, following the order of the visit. Each field can carry help text shown beneath it, and the job report can be presented before or after the job. Finally, each field can be placed in your Word report template: the final document fills itself in.

Field types, family by family

Frequently asked questions

How many field types are there?
More than 30, grouped into six families: text and instructions, choices and ratings, measurements and calculations, photos and plans, identification and location, approval and signature.
Do we need a developer to create a form?
No. A form is built in the back office’s job report editor, field by field. A new line of work is simply a type of job, a field form and a report template: it can be added without any development.
Can the technician fill everything in with no network?
Yes. The form is available offline, drafts are kept on the device, and the job report is sent as soon as the network returns. See offline mode.
What happens to the job report once it is filled in?
The office receives it as is, then G-ordon Almanach turns it into a Word or PDF report based on your template: each field can be placed wherever you want in the document.
