A mobile application designed for the field
Technicians rarely work in ideal conditions. Construction sites, basements, rural areas: the G-ordon field technician mobile application was designed to work everywhere, even without network connectivity.
A responsive PWA, no installation required
G-ordon uses the Progressive Web App (PWA) format. In practice, this means the application runs directly from the browser on any device, tablet, or phone, on both Android and iOS. No app store installation is needed, and updates are automatic. The interface adapts to the screen size to provide optimal usability regardless of the device used.
Intervention list and field navigation
When opening the application, the technician accesses their daily intervention list, sorted chronologically or by priority. Each intervention card displays essential information: address, intervention type, site history, required parts. An integrated navigation button launches directions directly in the device’s mapping application.
Field data entry
G-ordon enables structured data entry directly on site. Forms are configurable by intervention type: meter readings, anomaly reports, technical measurements. Mandatory fields ensure the completeness of information reported.
Photo capture and electronic signature
The technician can photograph situations encountered (anomalies, completed work, site conditions) and attach them directly to the intervention. At the end of the intervention, the client’s or tenant’s electronic signature is captured on the touchscreen, validating the visit and the work performed.
GPS location and tracking
The application transmits the technician’s GPS position at regular intervals. The scheduler thus has a real-time view of team locations, which facilitates emergency reassignment and tracking of route progress.
Push notifications
Technicians receive push notifications for each new assigned intervention, schedule modification, or message from the scheduler. This instant communication reduces phone calls and the risk of misunderstandings.
