Offline Mode

Work without network connectivity with G-ordon: full offline mode, local data cache, automatic synchronization when the network returns. Zero data loss.

Offline Mode

Work without interruption, even without a network

The field is rarely an open-plan office with fiber-optic connectivity. Basements, pipelines, rural areas, old buildings with thick walls: technicians routinely work in environments where network coverage is nonexistent or degraded. The G-ordon offline mode guarantees complete service continuity under these conditions.

A field application that works without connectivity

When the technician loses network connectivity, the G-ordon application continues to function normally. The intervention list, asset records, report forms: everything remains accessible and usable. The technician notices no difference in their user experience.

Local data cache

At the start of each day, or during the last available connection, G-ordon downloads and stores in local cache all the data needed for the technician’s route. Intervention records, asset histories, forms, and reference data are stored directly on the device. This technical architecture guarantees instant access to information, with no network dependency.

Automatic synchronization when the network returns

As soon as network connectivity is restored, G-ordon automatically triggers a background synchronization. Reports entered, photos taken, signatures collected, and data recorded are transmitted to the server without any action from the technician. Synchronization is incremental: only modified data is transferred, minimizing mobile data consumption.

Zero data loss

G-ordon’s synchronization mechanism is designed to be resilient. In the event of a disconnection during synchronization, the process automatically resumes from the point of interruption. No data entered in the field is lost, even under unstable network conditions.

Essential for field operations

Offline mode is not a gimmick. It is an absolute necessity for many operational contexts:

  • Water and wastewater networks: interventions in manholes, pumping stations, or on buried pipelines frequently occur in areas without coverage.
  • Rural areas: municipalities far from urban centers still have gaps in 4G/5G coverage.
  • Buildings: basements, underground parking, and mechanical rooms are regularly dead zones.

G-ordon was built for these field realities. Offline mode is not a feature added as an afterthought: it is part of the solution’s foundational architecture.
